DESCRIPTION: Small Arms - Williamson's of New York, factory engraved breech loading Derringer pistol, post-Civil War era, manufactured approximately 1867, .38 caliber rim fire with additional original cap and ball adapter, steel trigger with florally engraved brass trigger guard, florally engraved brass receiver, checkered walnut stock/grips, 2.5 inch slide opening barrel with engraved arrow pointing to the fiery end, stamped on side "WILLIAMSON'S PAT. OCT.2.1866, NEW YORK," s#639 stamped on barrel and receiver.
CONDITION: Good action; fine-plus overall cosmetic condition, rifled bore with light pitting, fine barrel with almost complete loss of finish, numerous small dings on wood handle with small crack near trigger guard, complete plated finish loss to receiver and trigger guards where brass is showing through; trigger with light oxide visible.
